In via Tancredi Canonico in Rome the ex Castorama point of sale is rebranded by Leroy Merlin that installs four moving walkways mod. TAW1-12-1000 with 12° slope, steps of 1000 millimetres and anti seismic supports, designed for climbing the following difference in height:
A moving walkway: height difference 3,20 metres
A moving walkway: height difference 2,00 metres
Two moving walkways: height difference 5,20 metres
The rebranding project aims at developing and adding value to the shopping mall that, thanks to the insertions of the moving pathways for speeding up and simplify and help the customers flow is expected to significantly increase the sales.
As we all know Laroy Merlin operates in the field of building, bricolage decoration, bathrooms and gardening, it starts sales in 1923 in rance, when Adolphe Leroy and Rose Merlin open the firs shop selling war residuals.
Since 2006 it is part of the Adeo Groupe, first French player in the do-it-yourself market, number two in Europe and number four world wide.
The rebranding of the Castorama point of sales into Leroy Merlin, which started in 2009 is due to end during 2011 and it will bring the point of sales of the group in Italy from 45 to 144.
