TECNO will be present at Expo 2010 Shanghai as official supplier with 7 lifts and 2 escalators.

The General Government Commissioner, has chosen TECNO, a leader company in the elevator field, to represent the Italian excellence, innovation and design worldwide.

World Expo 2010 will be held in Shanghai, China, from 1 May to 31 October 2010. This important event, preceded by EXPO 2015 Milan, will give TECNO the possibility to display its products to the 80 million visitors expected.
The exposition will be held on an area of 5.3 sq.km by Nanpu Ponte, along the banks of Huangpu River, where 200 countries will be present.
The theme of EXPO is “Better city, better life” representing the common wish of the whole humankind for a better living in future urban environments.
That’s why the emblem adopted for Expo depicts the image of three people - you, me, him/her – holding hands together and symbolizing the big family of mankind.

The General Government Commissioner will coordinate the Italian presence at Expo 2010 Shanghai by managing both in Italy and abroad the initiatives linked to the Italian participation and by organizing all the scientific, cultural and artistic events supporting the exposition.
