Società Impianti Turistici S.p.a. has operated four escalators in Ponte di Legno, an alpine place in the heart of the Alps which abuts on the Tonale Pass; these escalators can work in heavy conditions, which are typical in a sky resort, and they bring the skiers from the underground parking place to the ski-lift facilities.
