The Major of Milan inaugurate a new public structure that allows passengers to pass from the Metro station of Lambrate to the railway station in a closed and protected area skipping the traffic of the square, without architectural barriers.
This is an underpass with 3400 square feet of commercial facilities below piazza Bottini and it is equipped with TECNO escalators and moving sidewalks.
The traffic of the square is now reserved only to public transport and residents and it is monitored with cameras.
The square has been fitted with renewed street furniture and a public park.
Metropolitana Milanese spa was the main contractor of the project for an amounting of 13 Million Euro
