It is on its way the expansion of Terminal 2 of the Malpensa Airport.
The escalator, divided in three segments, is of THD type at 30° with 1000 mm wide steps. It will be in able to transfer 9000 passengers/hour.
The difference in height is 4,05 meters, the distance between supports is 12,40 meters and the speed is 0,50 meters/sec.

This escalator will connect the Railway Station with the departures floor of the Terminal 2.
